As I Lay Frying (lower left) and Carousel (almost front and center!) at Browseabout in Rehoboth

Book signing and readings to take place at CAMP Rehoboth Saturday April 10, Sunday April 11.

There’s a Meet-the Author book signing and reading on Saturday April 10th, 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center in Rehoboth Beach, DE and a second reading and signing at CAMP on Sunday, April 11 at 10 a.m.

As publisher of A&M Books I will be presenting the latest A&M publication, the novel The Carousel, by writer and television Producer Stefani Deoul. Come meet the author – she’s a hoot! A succesful TV producer turned novelist and a woman with some great stories!

Deoul divides her time between Rehoboth Beach and whichever exotic location is selected for filming her latest TV gig. At the moment she is working on the TV series Haven, shooting in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

I will be reading too, from  my upcoming third essay collection, For Frying Out Loud, to be published late in 2010.

Come to the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Ave. 11:45-2pm (and again on Sunday 10-11 a.m.) to meet the authors, laugh, learn about A&M Books. Call 302-227-5620 for information.

An article I’m writing about Rehoboth Beach will be in curve magazine this coming summer. Can’t get enough visibility for our wonderful resort and hometown – and fantastic GLBT community.

No, it’s not a new musical. It’s just that I have just had help setting up Twitter and a blog and Facebook all hooked into eachother so I can blab about writiing and books and all that good stuff to my heart’s content. Look out!!!!!!

Great News!  Just found out that  my column “Going Bats” in Delaware Beach Life Magazine won first place in the 2009 DE Press Association Contest.

The books have come off the press and are winging their way to Rehoboth….delivery some time early next week.
Who wants to lend a hand unloading the truck????

Get ready for the Publication Party, April 10

We got a great mention on the brand new Lambda Literary web site in the Book Buzz column….

“Stefani Deoul is producing a new series, Haven, based on Stephen King’s short story, “The Colorado Kid,” for the SyFy Network in Halifax.  But she’ll also be flying home to the U.S. to promote her debut novel, The Carousel, published by A&M Books.  For details, check out A&M’s revamped website.

You can follow the fortunes (or lack thereof) of A&M Books, the authors, the books, the agony and the ecstasy here!
